Gallus Consulting Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, the subject of your enquiry if you add one, and your message.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and working, not to identify you.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we collect it
We use the details you send through the contact form to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss how we can help. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without your agreement.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Our website is hosted by Vercel, and contact form messages are delivered to us by email through Resend. Both are based overseas, including in the United States, so your information may be processed outside New Zealand. We use these providers only to run the website and deliver your message, and they are required to protect your information.
We may disclose personal information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any work that follows, and then delete them.
Keeping it safe
This website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. To make a request or ask a question about this policy, contact our Privacy Officer through the contact form on this website.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
